Rebecca Peters - Media Contact

Rebecca Peters has been Media Relations Manager at Laura Ballance Media Group Inc. since July 2008. Prior to joining LBMG Rebecca spent eight years working in Canada's top local newsroom, Global BC TV, on a variety assignments including producing the award winning News Hour with Tony Parsons. Since joining LBMG, Rebecca has managed a number of high-profile media relations campaigns for some of Canada's top industries and events. Rebecca worked with impossible2Possible during Ray Zahab's involvement at the World Conference on Sport and the Environment hosted by the International Olympic Committee in Vancouver. She has also been deeply involved in the environmental message through working with the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, BC Forestry Investment Innovation, The GLOBE Foundation, EPIC The Sustainable Living Expo, as well as project managing the international media recruitment phase of the British Columbia International Media Centre for 2010.
